Crazy Hairbrush Throwing Azula

Well these next few weeks are going to be a bit chaotic, don't you agree?

First and foremost, I decided on a whim that I was going to cosplay for the first time at SDCC. Now look here peoples, I have never sewed a damn thing in my life (that's a lie actually, I made purse linings once) but I've never sewed an actual...thing, you know what I'm saying!?

My costume: Crazy Hairbrush Throwing Azula.

Now you're probably going, 'WTF!?' Well, let me explain. I wanted to dress up, but I didn't want to be anything extremely elaborate due to my lack of skill on the sewing machine. So the easiest thing was Prisoner Suki, but who wants to run around in Fire Nation rags all day? Plus, Irrel is already cosplaying as Suki.

So the second easiest was Azula's robe where she throws the hairbrush into the mirror (shown in NYCC trailer) and I thought that would be fucking awesome, so that's what I'm doing bitches! I've never seen it done before, which is why I think it will be more fun. These are the beginning pics of the project, and I will update as more gets done.
